Founder A 3D modeling platform

Founded as a group that made its own films every Friday to liven up dull post-COVID school life. We began as four classmates and grew by the day; by graduation we had drawn in students from other classes and reached nearly forty members. We then started a business to put our video-editing skills to work outside school, moved into CG modeling, and launched a community for making and selling 3D models of airplanes, trains, rockets, warships, and more. Next we turned to creating CG versions of original characters for creators of anime, manga, novels, and other works, and reached ¥500,000 in monthly revenue. As we prepared to move in earnest into app development, website development, and UI/UX design, we handed the business over to Nikola K.K.

Nikola K.K.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer Engineering for clients

Built websites and apps on contract for small and mid-sized businesses. The name comes from the idea of acquiring Tesla and renaming it Nikola Tesla. Through persistent sales outreach and the development, operation, and maintenance of sites and apps, the company averaged ¥3 million in monthly revenue. Later, rather than putting resources into a commoditized field, I founded ĪkarosAI to create value for society.

ĪkarosAI

Founder & Chief Executive Officer AI agents, and an AI-native browser

Humanity's commitment to advancing science and technology mirrors the figure of Icarus in Greek myth, who flew too close to the sun, lost his wings, and fell to earth. I came to believe that steering AI regulation and ethics across society would require building the world's most advanced frontier model in-house, and I founded ĪkarosAI on that conviction. At ĪkarosAI, we built products including an orchestration system, a fully automated web agent, and an AI model platform. We also ran in-person events such as product launches and hosted a global conference that brought together about six hundred engineers, investors, entrepreneurs, and others.

Project Prometheus

Founder & Chief Executive Officer The predecessor of Zero Industries

Founded to fundamentally solve the challenge of energy demand set to grow explosively as AI, robotics, and space development advance. Believing that the existing energy supply, dependent only on Earth's resources and generating capacity, has limits, it set out to build space-based power infrastructure: collecting solar energy at scale in space and transmitting it wirelessly to wherever it is needed. It set out to advance research and development in laser power transmission between satellites, transmission from satellites to lunar bases and spacecraft, and wireless power delivery from the ground to drones and other devices. Its ultimate aim: to build a Dyson Swarm—a vast constellation of power satellites surrounding the sun—and, by making the immense energy the sun produces usable at civilizational scale, to remove humanity's energy constraints altogether.
